Oh no… My house had roof condensation and it wasn’t good! Luckily we caught it early so there isn’t any mold. In this video we show how we fixed the problem and so far it’s working.
So we wanted to move our cattle panel greenhouse. Easy, right? Not exactly… we came up with a plan using just what we had laying around… then we had to switch up our plan a little… then as I’m editing this video I’m thinking it’s screaming redneck… but hey… it worked.. or did it??? You’ll just have to watch…
Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it! We are actually living in my shed to house conversion. It”s not complete yet, there is still a lot of work to be done, but we decided to make due with what we have and go ahead and move in, then finish it as we can.
It’s not exactly what I had planned to do but I got my hot water line installed to my sink. I’m so happy things didn’t go as planned because I now have the hot water hooked up.
The pepper plants were doing good and had lots of peppers on them, so we didn’t want to leave them out. Previous years, my mom has brought her potted peppers inside over winter and they continued to produce. So I decided to try digging mine up and potting them to see how they do. If nothing else, they do make beautiful house plants to enjoy though the winter.
The day has finally come! Brooke has been patiently waiting to get started on her shed to home conversion. After some research and planning, we’re ready to tackle a window installation. Ya know what? It wasn’t as hard as it seemed!
I’m so excited, I’ve made enough progress on my tiny house that I decided to celebrate by cooking my very first meal in my own kitchen!! Join us as we wait for the soup to cook and we show you the progress we’ve made.
It’s once again that time of the year when my mom harvests her potatoes she grows in containers. This year she mainly used 5 gallon buckets, but also threw in a few pots of various sizes and her laundry basket. From red and white seed potatoes to organic yellow potatoes from the grocery store, she grew several different varieties. Oh and then we can’t forget about something new she tried this year… rabbit poop… er, um… droppings, or ya know toppings as a fertilizer. So… which container worked best? Which variety produced the best? Did the rabbit poop help? Well…you’ll just have to watch…
Well, it’s been a while since we’ve been able to get any videos made. Life has been… let’s say… a little busy lately lately. Progress on our tiny homes has been slow but steady. We’re looking forward to getting back on track making videos soon!
We had a request for an animal update, so Miley is taking you with her as she does the chores so you can see how they are doing. There’s cuteness, silliness, frustration, and even a surprise! I’d tell ya all about it…but it’s more interesting if you watch….
